Carbon Offsets

  • Thanks to the generous support of the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF), the first Green Sports Alliance (GSA) Summit has taken strides to make this event environmentally sustainable.
  • Verified Carbon Offsets donated by BEF have offset the carbon dioxide footprint associated with staff and attendee travel to and from the Summit.
  • In addition, Renewable Energy Certificates donated by BEF ensure that that the energy used at the Summit comes from green energy sources.
  • Lastly, BEF has donated Water Restoration Certificates™ equivalent to the amount of water used at the Summit to ensure that the volume of water consumed at the Summit is restored to critically dewatered streams.
